Flow Yoga – A basics class flowing from one posture to the next to increase strength and balance. Focus will be given to coordinating the breath and movement. For beginners and experienced students. 60 minutes. No class 7/4, 9/5.

Active Anacostia – DC Yoga Week | 5.15.2012, 6:30p | Tendani’s Art Place
“Active Anacostia” will take place May 14-17, 2012 at Tendani’s Art Place, coinciding with DC Yoga Week, National Women’s Health Week, and Bike to Work Day! I will be teaching on Tuesday evening, but feel free to enjoy other classes this week. All classes start at 6:30pm with a suggested donation $5 http://activeanacostia.eventbrite.com/
Servathon | 4.21.2012 | So Others May Eat (SOME) Congress Heights
Servathon is the largest day of service in the DC region every year. Over 8,000 volunteers uplift our community in amazing ways, ranging from painting murals in public schools to landscaping and beautifying parks and landmarks.
On Saturday, April 21, I will be joining other volunteers in hosting healthy eating and living fairs at six different transitional housing sites managed by So Others May Eat (SOME) to encourage residents to eat better and live more active and healthy lifestyles. I will lead a 30-minute yoga practice to residents and volunteers!
